Koko

A good heroine from the animal world would be a fitting follow up for Jane Goodall. Koko the gorilla taught us that gorillas are intelligent, loving, maternal, creative animals. Here are some links to Koko and gorillas. Gorillas are one of the species threatened because of inhumane actions of human beings. It's important to act now to help save primates from going extinct.

all the peacemakers...

Our world is full of peacemakers and anyone who conscientiously tries to create more peace and tolerance among human beings is worthy of being called a hero.  I love the man in this video for this reason.  Masha'Allah.  Thank God for peacemakers.
